SPLIT UP

Two house complexes are situated in a long plot in Ano Koufonisi, in order to host the owner’s on their vacation but also to accommodate touristic use.
One clear demand from our clients was the equality of the separation of the built squaremeters, views etc, in order for their still young daughters to have an easier split-up in the future. Such social techniques and concerns are typical of our culture, ownership and have formed for generations our way of living. Therefore our ways of building.
The different volumes “move” back and forth playing with the shadows that the sun creates between them.

Different cores of privacy and publicity create a platform of outdoor /in-door living blending inside out and allowing the resident to relax inside the landscape.
